Federal Stimulus Funds

One of the over-riding premises of the new Federal Stimulus funds (ARRA funds) is to ensure that there is public disclosure as to the use of those funds.

Ensure transparency, reporting and accountability. To prevent fraud and abuse, support the most effective uses of ARRA funds, and accurately measure and track results, recipients must publicly report on how funds are used. All of our expenditures are reported monthly to the State Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and NCDPI is providing the required quarterly reports to the federal government on behalf of the North Carolina school systems.
